Scientific collaboration between modelers and other researchers is facilitated by shared access to data sets. The enormous size and lack of format standardization that is typical of large model outputs pose challenges to easy data access when collaborators are geographically separated. We present a publicly available Web server that surmounts these barriers and enables a modeler to share his/her results with distant colleagues with minimal effort. Using this server, sharing the latest model results requires little more than copying the datasets into a Web server directory. The server provides on-the-fly visualizations of horizontal and vertical sections, Hofmoller diagrams, and line plots. It provides subsetting of data and downloads formatted subsets in a variety of common file formats. Configuration controls on the server allow the data provider to tailor the services provided to individual users. The server provides a data discovery and access path through the NOAAServer for NOAA collaborators.
