[ferret_users] finding a climatology from 360 day calendar.

I am looking at a Hadcm3 data set which has a 360 day calendar. When I try to calculate the climatology:

 

Let rho_seas=rho_hat[gt=month_reg@mod]

 

I get a message saying error:regridding: only @asn, @lin or @nrst regridding between calendar types: 360 day, Gregorian.

I have tried to change the time axis but can’t get it to change calendar type. Is there some trick to doing this?
