Hi Rosanna, The messages about time bounds are just informational; they're not errors. They show up because of the way we do the definition of the difference variable. In F-TDS we don't include "coordinate bounds" variables in the virtual dataset that is created because they are not needed for doing the difference, but an attribute is still present that points to them. The error is **netCDF error NetCDF: Malformed or inaccessible DAP DATADDS (OPeNDAP/netCDF Error code -73) Data set: http://opendap-uat.jpl.nasa.gov/thredds/dodsC/las/PODAAC-GHOST-4FK02/data_opendap-uat.jpl.nasa.gov_thredds_dodsC_OceanTemperature_OSTIA-UKMO-L4-GLOB-v2.0.nc.jnl_expr_%7B%7D%7Buse+_qt_http%253A%252F%252Fopendap-uat.jpl.nasa.gov%252Fthredds%252FdodsC%252Flas%252FPODAAC-GHGDM-4FD02%252Fdata_opendap-uat.jpl.nasa.gov_thredds_dodsC_OceanTemperature_DMI_OI-DMI-L4-GLOB-v1.0.nc.jnl_qt__cr_letdeq1+analysed_sst_2_transformed%3Danalysed_sst%5Bd%3D2%2Cgxy%3Danalysed_sst%5Bd%3D1%5D%5D%7D That's saying the operation to define the difference variable and form the virtual dataset failed. This is a high-resolution grid. Selecting a smaller region works, so I suspect the Ferret scripts in LAS or F-TDS are having some trouble trying to handle the large number of coordinates in the original data. I'll have a look and see if I can see what this is about. On 4/1/2015 7:20 PM, Sumagaysay,
