In both LAS 7.3
and LAS 8, I am able to produce a timeline for a particular
dataset for Jan 01 2000 to Jul 30 2000 and from Jul 30 2000 to
Dec 31 2000 but when I try to produce one timeline for Jan 01
2000 to Dec 31 2000, I get the dreaded "ERROR Ferret crash; signal = 11".
I also get a
Ferret crash if I use the Jan 01 – Sep 30 2000 but if I use Aug
01 to Sep 30 2000, I get a good plot. I also get a plot for Jan
01 2000 to Jan 01 2005.
I suspect I have
one or more daily data sets that are problematic. How do I find
the offending dataset(s) since this is an aggregation?
To duplicate this
error in LAS 7.3 go to the website
http://mynasadata.larc.nasa.gov/las/getUI.do,
under Oceans, choose Daily Sea Surface Temperature (GHRSST), and
select the dates above. This server is using Ferret v6.842 and
netcdf-4.1.3.
Thanks for any
assistance.
