Re: [ferret_users] PyFerret postscript problem

Dear Nicolas,
G'day

you can save the figure into the -nodisplay mode of pyferret.

just restart pyferret with this command (-nodisplay supress the graphical window and nojnl will not create the temperory jnl file (~jnl))

so just run this command you should be able to save it into .ps and .eps or any other format. If you encounter the same problem with any other extension format.

pyferret -nodisplay -nojnl

cheers, saurabh

Hi,

I'm using PyFerret7.5 and trying to save a figure as a postscript with the command:
frame/file=Figure.ps

But I get the error:
**ERROR <class 'AttributeError'>: type object 'QPrinter' has no attribute 'PostScriptFormat'

Any idea where the problem comes from or how to save a .ps in another way with PyFerret?

Thanks,
Nicolas
