Hi Ramana Murthy,
Without knowing the exact "type" of binary file,
it is difficult to suggest a solution. There were many mails in the
group, about different aspects of handling binary files in Ferret.
To access those mails, go to
http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/Mail_Archives/ferret_mail_archives.html
and click on the "Search the Archives" link. Then try searching with
some specific words (like binary, stream, unformatted etc.) according
to your binary data "type".
If you cannot find a solution for your problem from the mail archive,
then write back to the group with all relevant details about your dataset.
