Hi,  
I have a .dat file in which missing values r written as -999.  
I want 2 convert this file into .nc or .cdf and used the  
following commands:  
define axis/x=60:80:1 xaxis  
 define axis/y=23:43:1 yaxis  
 define axis/t=1:1:1 taxis  
 define grid/x=xaxis/y=yaxis/t=taxis xygrid  
 file/grid=xygrid/var="temp" july_2000.dat  
 save/file=july-2000.nc temp  
All the things r ok for this but when i mentioned this missing  
value as:  
  file/grid=xygrid/BAD=-999/var="temp" july_2000.dat  
it give the error message "unknown command qualifier" while im  
using ferret version 5.81.  
i dont kno why this is happening? Plz guide me for the  
solution.
