shade Stereographic North(South) image

Hi, Ansley,

I am going to shade the Stereographic North(South) GIF image with NetCDF
data. The data in NetCDF is traditional standard( lat, lon
representation) style.
If I use the stadard SAHDE plot: "SHADE/... variable", it will draw the
lat-lon coordinates whcih is not expected.
How can we easily produce the image with Stereographic North(South)
style?
There is a example "mp_demo.jnl" in "/ferret/go" directory, but I can
not run it correctly in my jnl somehow.
